In theatre home wireless kits are 2 of the speakers totally wire free, been informed that they are not?
I do not like the idea of wires under a carpet, so must have the speakers WIRELESS

- No not at this moment in time. All Home Theatre kits have wired speakers, usually if there are any speakers that are wireless, the bass units are always wired!
- The rear speakers (usually the ones with wireless capabilities) are wireless from the stand point of attaching to the receiver. So you do not have a wire/cable running from the TV back to those speakers. However, they do require a power source to run and that is fixed by plugging them into a handy outlet. They are wireless from the receiver connections but not from the power source. I agree, it's confusing!
- some are ,some are not (the rear speakers are wireless) http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/redirect.html?ie=UTF8&location=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.amazon.co.uk%2Fs%3Fie%3DUTF8%26x%3D0%26ref%255F%3Dnb%255Fss%255Fw%255Fh%255F%26y%3D0%26field-keywords%3Dwireless%2520suround%2520sound%2520system%26url%3Dsearch-alias%253Daps&tag=swapitforfree-21&linkCode=ur2&camp=1634&creative=19450
- i understand about goin wireless however your back speakers need to be ran into a transmitter and plugged into the wall in order to have rear speakers... My recommendation would be run th wires because you can drop the signal or have static in them at any given time.. always better to got hardwired... wireless speakers is like wireless internet if theres not a strong connection its goin to fail.. if u do go with a unit like that make sure u do not use a cell phone, microwave, cordless phone,, turn off wireless internet, anything that transfers rf frequencies will and can interfer with the wireless kit
- they fooled you
- I have the Rocketfish Universal Wireless Rear Speaker Kit (or something like that). It works by hooking up a transmitter to your rear speaker terminals on the receiver. Then you attach the rear speakers via normal cables to a receiver that plugs into the wall. It's not perfect but it works great. I've had no problems with delays, buzzing or interference. It does cost about $100 at Best Buy so it's expensive, but it's better than running cables to the back of the room.
