Wireless Indoor Outdoor Speakers

I would like to get wireless speakers throughout the house to play music from my new imac. How do i do this?

How do I do this? I would like a wireless connection where all my music in the house is coming through my computer. Thanks.

1. best idea i have heard yet!!!! but i think its impossible for wireless but my uncle has this in his house you just need to hook up MANY speakers to one stereo system thingy...then and AUX cable from the back of the system to your computer or ipod and there you go! i hope i helped...
2. If u not bother about money ur better option is Creative Gigaworks S750 (7.1 Speakers), or Creative Gigaworks G550 (5.1 Speakers).. U will enjoy the REAL BASS SURROUND....
3. It's a great idea. There are many different ways of achieving this, it just depends on how techy you are and how much money/time you want to invest. Here are a few pointers you may find useful. 1. Buy an Apple Airport Express. This is a small wireless router that can receive audio via iTunes which you can then plug into your stereo system. Pros: simple setup, easy to use, Mac friendly Cons: need a separate hifi. 2. Get some wireless speakers. There are many different types, from wall mounted hifi speakers to portable wireless water proof speakers for the bathroom or outdoors. Just plug a transmitter into your iMac and then you can carry the speakers to wherever you want. 3. There are numerous 'black box' solutions http://www.audiofi.co.uk/reviews/overview.php that can perform streaming, media storage and other clever functions. Until some big manufacturer (maybe Apple) designs a combined streaming/storage/speaker package, wireless audio throughout the house is very much a build it yourself solution.
