  1. All that and XP Home?! First thing I'd do is upgrade the power supply (too small) and get a copy of XP Pro and Vista to put on it.
  2. Yeah that sounds about right.
  3. it seems like a good buy, yet im not to sure how good the AMD proccessors are but I do know that for gaming intel proccesors are better because the have a better clock-work and more speed.
  4. That's an insufficient power supply. Online gaming will be bad due to the wireless internet. You'll need a sound card that isn't onboard, also. But, the price does seem justifiable, especially with the Blu-Ray reader. If you're building/buying a computer mainly to play games, let me know and I can help you out.
  5. I agree with Net Admin. Definitely boost your power supply and OS. The 9500GT 1GB card won't require as much power as some other video cards but you'll still want a beefier power supply.
  6. im assuming this is not for gaming, otherwise i would not get the 9500 i would get 260 or 280 if it were for gaming, do you really need 1TB of space? i have difficulties filling up 320GB... you may want to check the amp ratings of your psu, the Tuniq 550w is a very decent power supply with 50 amps on the 12v, $40 after rebate on newegg but im unfamiliar with which amps are used mainly on a non-gaming computer so your psu may be sufficient. seems sort of expensive, maybe if you could post the price for each individual part may be easier to find what is too expensive. (q6600+gtx280 rig is around 900 b4 mirs and 750 after mirs on newegg, thats without a moniter though...)
