How can I connect extra speakers to my TV? I want to connect two extra speakers to my bedroom TV so I can still listen to the morning news in the adjoining bathroom. Is there some waterproof hearing aid type technology to help our situation? Okay, so my fiance is a morning person and I am not. He wakes me up too early in the morning because he absolutely HAS to listen to the radio or the morning show online that he likes! Ideas for sealing an outdoor speaker connection? I just set up two outdoor speakers. The speakers are supposed to be waterproof but I am afraid of the exposed speaker wire in back of each speaker as they are only partially shielded from the elements. Leakages Problem for walls near bathroom and window (India)? Hi I am looking for a permanent solution for leakage problem which spoils the wall paint. Waterproofing an 02 Jeep Wrangler? Ok. ive had my wrangler for almost a year and ive seen tv shows on people going on trail rides and they're in water up to the hoods. Now obviously you cant get water into the airbox so a snorkel would be nessasary. But what else do you need to do.. Are instant touch lights shower-safe? Whomever designed my bathroom wasn't thinking and very little light reaches into the shower even with a light shower curtain. I was thinking of putting one of those instant touch lights that are sold on TV on the wall above the shower stall, but I can't find anything that tells me if they're waterproof or not or whether they will slip off under steam or not. Ok, so during summer, i don't wear make-up (foundation), b/c itz just so freakin hott and i'll sweat it off anyway (+ i run and stuff and go swimming) i do wear a little eyeliner and very natural eyeshadow sometimes, but no mascara, unless its a specail occasion; cuz it'll run and i natually have dark eyelashes, plus mascara makes ur natural eyelashes shorter. 3-year old caring and entertaining,(really living with) he's in a full leg cast? Well, my 3-year-old son broke his leg and got a full leg cast, bright red. And we as parents are in some trouble, because of the fracture, he can't walk with the "bad" leg, he can't use crutches and we were looking for a walker or something like that but the doctor didn't believe that is a good idea. He's only in his bed, watching tv and we carry him everywhere, the cast is not waterproof(no baths), and we are thinking about some issues. We want to entertain him, park visits are not possible, he enjoys the park playground so much. When will ion-masking become standard on mobile phones etc? So does anyone know when we can expect to see everyday products bearing an 'ion-masked' logo on the side? paint gloss help!!!!!!!!!!!? I just painted my wood TV dinner tray with regular craft paint and was wondering if I could buy some kind of paint or gloss to paint over it to keep it from coming off and make it waterproof. Someone told me I could buy polyurethane but it would take a few days to dry and I would have to use sandpaper and that just seems like a pretty long & difficult process. Why does my friend always tell fibs and lie to me? He's an OK guy, but he lies so much! I really don't know why he does it. He doesn't really lie about big things, just little things, but it gets annoying. Here are some examples: We were talking about a movie we both liked a while back and he told me that he had just bought it a K-Mart on DVD. I was ecstatic and asked him which store, but he said they were all sold out and he got the last one. I then looked online and discovered that at that time, the movie had NEVER been released on DVD in my country, Australia. He was lying! Another instance happened when I bought a brand new watch, a real nice one. I was showing it off at work and then the next day he comes in and tells me that his Mum bought him a brand new watch that was "extremely expensive". It was apparently waterproof and had a high-tech crystal face. I never got to see it as he said he was too scared of scratching it at work. I never saw him wearing the watch outside of work and it was never mentioned again. And another example is of yet another DVD title (A History Of Violence) that I purchased on eBay from another country before it was released over here. It cost me over $30. I showed him and I could tell that he was a little jealous, but he said that he too had bought a copy but it only cost him $6 and the seller (allegedly) sent it to his house even before he paid for it. He said that the seller told him he could pay for it anytime he wants, no hurry. I have been to his house and looked at his collection since that time, and the movie ain't in his collection. There are many more ridiculous examples of his lying. I haven't seen the guy for over six months now since changing jobs. I got a 42" full HD LCD TV last year and he got a 32". I got a text from him last night telling me he had just purchased a 47" full HD TV for $2198 from JB Hifi. I thought "that's a little cheap", so I looked at their site online and found that TVs in that size sell in the $2,700-$3,100 range, so he's obviously lying AGAIN. Any clue as to why he would keep telling fibs and lying to me, and others. He says things, but doesn't have that good a memory. My memory is pretty much photographic, so I remember everything. When I talk to him weeks later about things, his details change dramatically or he forgets he mentioned something entirely and denies it. It's sooooo irritating.

how do I connect TWO 5watt fluorescent stick bulbs to a 15watt single stick bulb fixture? Okies, I am building a vehicle for Flint's annual "back to bricks". Four days of people showing off their hotrods. But I do not have money, instead I have loads of electronics I have been collecting from devices found in trash and such. I have the vehicle built and am currently working on the lighting, and I thought I understood fluorescent bulbs(stick style with two prongs at each end)but I was wrong. I have two sharper image 11-in-1 emergency devices that have been installed in the vehicle, but one of them quit working AHHHHHH! Each device has two fluorescent fixtures for the lantern that use the very common F4T5D 5watt bulbs. And most of the other lanterns on the market use these bulbs. On each of the sharper image devices I installed is a switch that turns the left fluorescent on, or both, or the right. So I have a grand total of FOUR 5watt fluorescent fixtures that are waterproof and simply perfect for the exterior of the vehicle, with the REAR left and right fixtures controlled and powered by the WORKING sharper image device. But now that the second sharper image fixture broke, I must find another method for powering the front left and right fixtures. I don't have any other lanterns to use but I do have many single bulb fluorescent fixtures. I have a 15watt single bulb fixture that I want to use to power the two 5watt bulbs(which total 10watts) I thought I could figure out the configuration, but failed,.... the 5 watt bulbs have the standard two prongs at each end, but both the prongs on one side are the positive and both the prongs on the other side are connected to the negative in the sharper image fixtures,.... this is way different than the way the single bulb fixture is powered,..... it uses a ballast and a button that needs to be held down for a few seconds then released for the single bulb to turn on. I rigged up a single 5watt bulb to the 15watt fixture and it worked fine, but I could not get two 5watt bulbs to turn on using the 15watt fixture, and I tried many configurations,.... one of the 5watters would always come on, but not both,... in some configurations I got a bit of light from the second bulb, and sometimes an entire half of the second bulb would shine perfectly. the best I could do is get 1.5 bulbs lit,... meaning one bulb fully lit with the other with only half of it lit, but the lit half was as bright as normal,... very strange. These devices have a B/W TV also that is totally useless which is why they are hard to get, and none are on ebay. I really want to know how to get these bulbs to work in these particular sharper image fixtures cuz they are perfect for my vehicle's exterior! And all the bulbs I worked with do work cuz I check them often. This vehicle will do everything a house can do, tho it is as wide as a standard sidewalk, can go where a car can't. Everything will be powered by a high amp gasoline generator with battery backup for emergencies. Going to have many exterior lights all over the body and TV, warm running water, heat and air conditioning, PA system, many speakers, dual mic's, bug repeller, two B/W tv's for the fake headlights with the station being broadcast via a vcr in the cabin sending a local signal of my choosing, karaoke, electric motor for up to 40mph and a backup tractor motor capable of 10mph, both can be used together for severe inclines, many radios, PC and a separate dvd player so all media is supported, cassette recorders, amplifiers, six car batteries, ten tires so I can afford to loose a few. This vehicle was supposed to float so it could be taken into lakes and rivers, but I am worried there will be a heavy spot and the vehicle will tilt too much causing water to go into bad places. It was about this guy trying to find a girl, I think, and her friends were standing in his way. One of the women he had to talk to to find the girl was a news anchor and had her pager on speed dial. He didn't quite figure out why until he saw that it was waterproof and vibrated real well. That woman didn't think she needed guys at all. Once she got called in to do a hot news thing and she still had her pager in her. The guys buddy was an a** and asked if he remembered the pager number. Bad bedwetting accident! Need cleaning advice.? My sons' friend slept over last night. My family has known for years that he is a bedwetter. Not a problem. We always have protective bedding for him. It's advertised on TV for regular beds but it's made into living room furniture as well. I took the waterproof mat on the couch and placed extra blankets on the side for more protection. Our guest had a grin on his face and said that it still felt comfortable. Some time during the night he got up and walked over to an UN protected piece of furniture and slept there instead and peed on it. He left right away in the morning. My son discovered it and the whole family is upset over it. My son wants to fight him but I won't let that happen. They go to different schools so I keep them away from each other, I called his mom and told him everything. He peed on her furniture before too. She told me that she used a carpet cleaner for own furniture when this happened. She has the more traditional type of cushions though. Would this work on memory foam? Would it get damaged permanently if it gets really wet from that? Can I get the cushions dry cleaned instead? What's the best way to clean this? Anybody know? He got up in the middle of the night to use the bathroom. He figured it was safe for him to sleep on an unprotected couch since he used the toilet in the middle of the night. Given his history, he knew better than to take that risk. ^smile*, You can stop laughing now. The couch will not be ruined. It has been cleaned quite a bit already but I'll be calling the store today for advice. (Monday).

How do swimmer's get tattoos? (personal experience especially welcome!)? Okay so I want to get a tattoo but I have to swim everyday so I've always just assumed I can't get one because the chlorine effects them right? But when you watch swimming on TV loads of proffessional swimmers have tattoos...how do they do this? Did they just not swim for 3months or however long it takes? Basically I would like to know how long it is before you can expose a new tattoo to water for prolonged amounts of time or if there is anyway of covering them (like in a waterproof bandage or something)?? Temporary tattoo that lasts for awhile? I need a way to get a temporary tattoo on my back but it HAS to last WITHOUT smudging for at least a night. Can someone pretty please help me think of a name for a survival show in my story? Hiya! I've decided to write a story about 6 teenagers (Aidan, Keasha, Jay, Alex, Delta and Sky) who are chosen out of millions of other applicants around the world to star in a reality TV show called…. The 6 contestants are placed in different parts of the forest 30 minutes away from each other with minimal supplies (one person has a box of waterproof matches; another one a back pack; someone has a large thermal blanket; one person has a large bottle of water purifier; someone has a large, sharp pocket knife; and someone has a first aid kit). The contestants must find each other to endure the horrors and beauties of Amazonia otherwise die of hunger or freeze to death during the cold nights. Once the 6 contestants find each other they must search for a list of exotic animals and plants all the while fighting for their survival. Once they have found everything they have to press on the tracking device that is on a necklace that must always be worn by the contestants. A helicopter will retrieve them from wherever they are in Amazonia and bring them back to safety. The story is in first person and everything is seen through the eyes of Sky Ulonka, a 17 year old Native American, as she embarks on the most exciting and dangerous journey of her life. So, can you please, please, please help me with come up with a name for the survival show? I'd really appreciate it!

How can i burn my hd mp4 video to dvd? Hi. I bought a Sanyo vpc-wh1 xacti waterproof camera. It records onto a sdhc memory card in mp4 format. It came with Nero software which wont even open the video i took, it will only play the audio. It also says i need a blu-ray/hd plug-in and has a link to buy it from nero. Nero's website has the latest version for around $70 but says the hd/blu-ray plug in is "no longer available." I have been trying to figure out how i can upload my hd video and burn it to a dvd so i can watch it on my hd tv. I read about Roxio software, which got bad reviews, Pinnacle software which got bad reviews, and so i am really wanting some answers. What does everyone use that has these new hard drive camcorders? I dont just want to keep it on my computer with no back up and not be able to have it on a dvd. Why is this so hard?

What's The Best Camcorder I Can Buy For Making Bodyboarding Movies? Hi everyone I want to buy a camcorder to make bodyboarding films and I'm stuck of which one to get. I don't know much about camcorders and I don't know which recording format is the best for what I want it for. I mean will a tape based camcorder get all jolted by a wave crashing down on it and do I need to be looking more at flash based camcorders. I want the best quality possible as I want to put my movies on DVDs to watch them on TV. DIY refinishing ugly waterproofed basement walls? I have a house with a great basement, lots of room for computer area, workout area, washroom, storage and TV room. The TV room part of the basement is where I'd like my family to spend most of its time, but the waterproofed walls (and the carpet) make it really UGLY. I'm trying to think of ways to cover up the waterproofed walls to make it more attractive and would like suggestions. I've thought of a few things (e.g., paneling), but don't know what I can put over waterproofing "stuff".... Any suggestions, especially those for a not so handy person would be great! is foam board insulation strong enough to be placed over floor joists and then install a floor over it? I am going to be building a 10x14 shed when it warms up a bit. I plan to use it as a shed to store my lawn tractor and garden tools but i can see a time in the future where i may want to use it as an escape (i am going to run power, tv and internet to it). I can insulate walls and ceiling later but the floor is something i think is a lot easier when you are building the shed. My first thought was to use fiberglass but i then thought about mice and potential for getting wet being so close to the ground. So i am now thinking about something waterproof which would be 4x8 sheets of foam board. My current plan is to build the floor out of 2x6's 16inches on center. I would then build the walls and put them up. Next comes the floor made from a 1inch foam board (laid directly on the floor joists) and then 1/2 inch plywood. This would bring the floor up to the same level as the 2x4 plate at the bottom of the wall so the floor would be level. The 2x4 would take the brunt of traffic thru the door and the floor would take load from the top. Other option would be to first put down a sheet of plywood, then foam board, then another piece of plywood on top and then build up the door ways with 1x so the floor level matches.
