i need to compile a sound system for a band. I need some excellent gear to create one for under $2,000.? I need monitors, mixers, subwoofers, mics,bass drum mic, mic stands, wireless mic, mic and guitar cables(bass and 2 electric).

What do you think of my setup? ok.... im asking this because im really really proud of this... im 14 and i finally got my computer setup really awesome... so im going to list all of my stuff and you tell me what you think... COMPUTER/s: HP Pavilion desktop with 1GB of RAM (im getting another gigabyte soon) 250GB HDD and a 8GB HDD. 7 USB ports 5 slot memory card reader, and a lightscribe CD/DVD reader/burner. it has mutiple software on it to make it look IDENTICAL to vista.. so basically it has the vista look with the XP performance I also have a compaq laptop.. it was originally windows 98 but i installed XP on it. i use it for programming AUDIO: ok im REALLY proud of my audio setup... I have a dolby digital 7.1 surround sound system (6 speakers and 2 subwoofers) it sounds AMAZING on games like battlefield 2 and halo VIDEO: ok this is pretty nice.. my computer has a NIVIDEA GeForce 6500 LE hooked up to a SANYO 26 inch flatscreen tv.. (looks really nice) INPUT DEVICES: ok this is kinda kool... i have a normall wireless mouse and keyboard but i actually have TWO mouses! lol on is a Micro technology wireless mouse.. and the other is a wiimote! hoocked up to the bluetooth dongle it works really great! thats why i think the input devioces were worth mentioning NETWORKING: ok so for the networking i have a linksys Wireless-N usb adapter conecting to a NETGEAR wireless-N Router... i also have a bluetooth dongle and im working on getting enough money to buy another one so i can setup a network between it and the computer upstairs.. GAMEPADS: i have a wireless Xbox360 controller for PC that works very nicely.. Thats all thats worth mentioning about my setup... if anybody wants to please post your setup as i am very intrested in hearing about other peoples setups...

Is this a good, productive desktop for my needs? Ok i dont about many of you but my wife and i have been hit hard by the recession. We're really trying to cut back but my old laptop just isnt working anymore. I have a limited budget of up to $1500 and just need to know if this desktop will meet my needs and be productive for yrs to come.
