Audio Unlimited - Wireless Speakers question.? Hi all, I bought this pair of wireless speakers, with the included transmitter, and it's a great product: http://www.amazon.com/Unlimited-SPK-VELO-001-Water-Resistant-Wireless-Speakers/dp/B000N5WINO/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1270745524&sr=8-1 I want to add additional speakers, which they sell for about $50 each. http://www.amazon.com/Unlimited-900MHz-Wireless-Speaker-SPK-VELO2/dp/B000YLKK0K/ref=pd_sim_e_1 However, the original product is only about $70, which includes two speakers (and a transmitter), obviously making it a better value. My question is: Would you think buying an additional set would work off of the same original transmitter, or would a new set not necessarily not work on the same frequency? I've done my best to delve through the reviews and specs of the products but I haven't found a clear answer. Thanks very much in advance.
pioneer dual-cone speakers question? I have a brand new Pioneer TS-164P Dual-Cone Speaker 16cm. They are 6-1/2", GM 6-3/4" compatible. Max 100W, 40-20,000Hz, 92dB, water resistant, shallow basket design. I don't know what most of that means, but was wondering how much they are worth, selling on craigslist or whatever. I got them with a car cd player, but chose not to switch the factory speakers out. They are still in the box. Thanks in advance for your help.
What is a Good Stereo and Subwoofer Set-up for my Boat? I am currently looking at stereo options for my boat and want to find a solution that best fits my musical tastes and the unique requirements a marine environment pose. I am on a budget and would like to avoid dedicated "Marine" stereo equipment if possible. In my experiences all electronics, even marine grade, on small boats have a fairly short life. This is another reason I would like to stay away from high cost, high quality products. My thinking is when it breaks, I'm assuming it will, I can replace it without hurting my wallet too much a second time. That's not to say I don't want quality audio, I just don't want or need to get into high dollar audiophile-grade components. I was thinking two sets of three-way 6x9's and a sub would be good. I would like to find speakers with polypropylene or other water-resistant type cones. I don't plan on listening to CD's or the radio much, but an auxiliary hook-up for my Mp3 player is essential. I would prefer rear auxiliary inputs but front aux inputs would work as well. I don't listen to a whole lot of rap music, or other music that requires the deepest bass, but I do like to have a sharp kick on the bass notes. I would prefer if I did not have a constant rumble like I hear so often from these subwoofers. My other concern is the open environment that we'll be in. I know most of the time when I hear audio outside like that it loses a lot of the mid and low level frequencies and is left with a very washed-out, tinny, AM radio sound. What is the best way to keep a full rich sound in this environment? My last concern is power availability. My stator only puts out 35 amps. I'm assuming I'll have 20 amps normally available for the stereo (around 240 watts). I know this won't be enough to keep my battery charged, but I'm okay with allowing it to drain while I'm out and charging it at home. This is kind of a round-a-bout way of saying I want the lowest power system I can find while still fulfilling the above requirements. Please let me know what your thoughts are. Thanks. I've got a lead on a used cm312d4 Diamond 12" 300 watt RMS Subwoofer. It is in working condition and the seller is asking 35 dollars. Would this be a good place to start for this system?
