Wireless Indoor Outdoor Speakers

Outdoor speakers? Anyone have any recommendations? It's a bit hard to check out outdoor speakers in a store and get an idea of how they will sound in an open backyard. I've got three models in mind...Boston Acoustics Voyager 6, Polk Audio Atrium 60, and Paradigm Stylus 370 v.3 A friend actually owns the Paradigms, and they sound fantastic and is what I'm leaning towards, but I'd like to get some input on a few others first. Thanks in advance. PS : please don't even bother to suggest Bose speakers.

Can i show a movie outside using a projector and have the sound come through those speakers? or do i have to have some other kind of speakers attached to the projector? i guess i'd be using a DVD player with the projector.

Outdoor speakers setup? I know very little about home audio technology, but I have a few questions regarding how I should setup my outdoor sound system. I moved into a new home a couple of years ago. The back deck was wired for future installation of outdoor speakers, and a volume control dial was installed indoors. I assume these were wired to a home theatre jack for the input. I would like to be able to sit outside and listen to music, but I'm wondering if it's possible to be able to control the volume and song selection from outdoors. It seems that with the current set-up that I would have to go inside each time I wanted to adjust the volume or change the song on my home theatre system. This would not be pratical. Any suggestions for getting around this? What if I used a "soundbridge" to get access to songs on my computer's harddrive? The cell phone idea sounds interesting. However, I believe that my back deck is more than 10m from the computer and I question whether the signal would penetrate the exterior wall. I may try that though.
