Are there replacement speakers for Sony DAV-FX900W 5-Disc DVD Dream System or similar home theatre system? We bought a Sony Home theater system and after about 6 months, the wireless speakers no longer worked. They were unable to repair the problem. Now we have the DVD player and the speakers except the two wireless speakers for the rear...so when playing DVDs, we don't experience the surround sound effect. Before we go out and get another system...is it possible to buy wired speakers separately to replace the two that are missing? I'm now afraid of wireless speakers!

Any ideas for wireless solutions linking a mac to a stereo and speakers and tv to stereo? we have just moved house and need wireless only solutions around the house in connecting a mac (osx 10.4) to a sony hifi in a different room to link up and play itunes through the stereo. we need a wireless modem and adaptor to connect to broadband as phone line is in a separate hallway. we also would like a wireless connection from our samsung (new) tv to the same stereo to again play sound through the speakers. also are there any decent wireless speakers for a mac as ideally we would like speakers for the same room where the mac is and also our bedroom. i have looked at airport express etc and visited many shops but am baffled with it all. sounds a lot i know but please advise in plain english exactly how everything would work and cost. all the above has to be reasonably good quality but also affordable. I know i already stated it is a mac so must be mac compatible, if you do not know this please don't answer the question. Cheers.
Possible to use front speakers wirelessly on a Sony DAVFX900? I just got a Sony DAVFX900, and with the setup I'd like to achieve, I'd like to have the front speakers, or for that matter, the front audio, to be the wireless speakers. For the room I have these set up in, the front speakers are farther away from the DVD 5-disc changer than the surround speakers, and it would be far more convenient to have them wireless, than to wire them. Is this possible?
What speakers should I buy for Sony PS3? Hi guys and gals, I've got a budget of about £300 to buy a speaker system. I've been looking and all the decent systems have blu-ray players included. I know the PS3 needs an digital optical input and was also looking for the possibility of rear wireless speakers! Any suggestions would be exceedingly appreciated :) Thank you very much

Ambisound or wireless satellite speakers? I have a 50" Plasma TV with an Xbox 360 attached, and other features that warrant surround sound, but my dad hates to see cables or wires, and the way our living room is set up, there's no way we can really hide them, so I was wondering what is better - Ambisound technology from Sony, or a wireless surround sound system? If you know of any other home theatre sound packages that would suit the problem, please tell also.
How do I hook up my Sony Bravia surround sound system to my Blu Ray player? I have a Sony wireless Bravia speaker system with 5 disk DVD player. I'm having trouble connecting my Blu Ray player to it. Are only the rear speakers of wireless surround sound really wireless? I'm thinking of buying a wireless surround sound system, because I don't want to string wires across my living room. I'm thinking of purchasing this system: http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage.jsp?skuId=8724419&st=DAVHDX576WF&lp=1&type=product&cp=1&id=1200703058141 the Sony DAVHDX576WF. It appears that only the two rear speakers are wireless. Is this standard with wireless systems or do some have all wireless speakers? Would it be fairly easy to hide the wires of this system behind my tv and stand? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
Can I use the JBL On Air Control 2.4G wireless speaker system without pre-amp RCA outputs? I recently purchased the JBL On Air Control 2.4G wireless speaker system without realizing my receiver (Sony) did not have preamp RCA outputs. Is there anyway I can buy a seperate preamp system to connect to my receiver that will then allow this to work? Thanks in advance for any help.
How do I get this wireless speaker with bluetooth to work? I was told that if I buy a wireless speaker (which I did, I got one by Sony) and then a blue tooth, that I could make it so that I can play all my music and radio stations from my computer to the wireless speaker in another room. Well I cannot get it to work, what am I doing wrong? Thank you! I am sorry, I know this question is kind of vague. Okay so my computer recognizes the blue tooth but not the speaker. Maybe I need that adapter you mentioned.
How does the Sony DAV-HDX265 and wireless adapter WAHT-SD1 work? Adapter Specification: Installing rear speakers has never been easier than with the wireless WAHT-SD1 adapter. Simply connect the included 200W amplifier and infrared receiver and place the rear speakers of your BRAVIA® Theater system exactly where you want them. Without the hassle of custom installation, you can avoid the tedious job of hiding speaker wires and spend more time watching movies with room-filling surround sound. So does it make all the speakers wireless or it only transmits the signal from the two rear wireless speakers?? so can i adapt other wireless speakers to the system?? without the speaker adapter...

Also your opinion on which to get is appreciated i cant really go over £450.00
what is the best wireless speaker system I can get? that's affordable. I saw one from a company that was super expensive (about $500) Bose has a system that is similarly expensive but at least I've heard of them Sony has a system that allows you to wirelessly link music stored on your computer or Ipod to your existing speakers, although I don't have an Ipod I think it may be worth it because it's only about $200 a review of these or other suggestions would be helpfull.

How do I play music on 2 separate stereo systems simultaneously? HDMI and Speakers? Hi guys, I'm trying to decide how to enhance my mac pro. I have a playstation 3 and also love gaming. A PS3 had an hdmi port which i use with my tv. Should i get an apple 30" display to get the best resolution wtih an hdmi to dvi converted connector or should i get an hdmi television? Wireless Speaker and Home Theatre? Hi I want to add wireless stereo outdoor speakers to my existing home theatre system Sony STR-DG720. It appears all wireless speaker transmiters only have a headphone jack or RCA jack. If I hook it up to the headphone jack on the receiver I will only get audio out of my wireless speakers and not my home theatre (wired speakers) as well. Is there any way (or brand) to hook wireless speakers up so I can get sound out of all my speakers at the same time? Thanks! I think I wasn't clear. The wireless speaker transmitter that attaches to the receiver only has a 3.5mm jack similar to a headphone jack. If I were to plug the 3.5mm jack into the headphone port it would stop audio from playing through the rest of my speakers.
Do wireless rear speaker systems work well when used strictly for music? I am looking to invest into a sound system for our living room. This system would be strictly for music (no television involved, that's in another room). Here's the problem...We have an old house so wiring through the walls is not an option because I do not want visible wires throughout the room. I am considering the Panasonic SC_PT1050 or Sony (model???) rear wireless system through Sam's Club. An old friend had the Sony hooked up as surround sound for A/V purposses, and it was great for movies! However, my purpose is SOLEY for music, and I've read that music can sound "echoey" due to transmission delays to rear speakers. Is anyone familiar with these systems at Sam's Club (or anywhere for that matter)? Would I be better off goin with a Bose "Wave" style system? Or...Is there another option that I may be unaware of? Thank you for your response.

Can I use the LG wireless speaker kit from the LHT874 on other home theater systems? Hi! I've had a lot of problems with the LG LHT874 and LG has finally offered me a full refund. Anyways, I'm looking into getting the LHB977 which doesn't have wireless speakers. So, I'm wondering if I can use the wireless kit from the LHT874 on the LHB977. I thought all I would need was a power supply to the transmitter (since it got the power from the home theater unit). Well, I found the power adapter I needed and tried hooking the kit up to my Sony Stereo before I get a new home theater system. When the kit wasn't hooked up to the stereo, it went on standby automatically, but when it was hooked up to my stereo (when the stereo was on or off), the transmitter and the receiver both stayed on and wouldn't go into standby. Is this because my stereo and speakers aren't quite compatible? If I get the LG home theater system, will the kit go into standby even if its connected to the unit? I know that all of my speakers now are compatible with the LHB977. Thanks SO MUCH for you help on this matter. I hope I didn't confuse you too much! Here's specifications for the 2 home theater systems: LHT874: http://www.lge.com/us/tv-audio-video/home-theater-systems/LG-home-theater-system-LHT874.jsp LHB977: http://www.lge.com/us/tv-audio-video/home-theater-systems/LG-home-theater-system-LHB977.jsp

Sony Bravia sound system wire replacment? My dog chewed threw my wire in the rear set of my speakers in my Sony Bravia Home Theater. I was hoping I could just find a replacement wire for connecting the rear speakers. The problem is on the one side (where the wireless receiver is) there is a little plug for the wire opposed to just your standard speaker wire connection. The other side is the normal split speaker wire connection where it clips in. Does anyone know if I can find a replacement wire for this, and if so where? It is a Sony Bravia DAVHDX900W wireless home theater.

I have a new Surround sound system, but it doesn't have speaker wire inputs. help?? Ok, I just bought the new sony HD sound bar system. Even though it sounds great!!! I want to hook up some rear wireless speaker kit. however, the Sony system only has 4 HDMI ports. 3 Digital Optical ports and a single analog audio port. 1 Coaxil audio digital input and the digital media port. The wirless kit (Rocketfish makes) uses speaker wire only. Is there anyway to run speaker wire into a setup, that would hook up to any of these ports?
What causes the nightly 9pm beep on my speaker? O.K., I know this sounds crazy, but here's what happens. I have a surround sound system, with wired "surround" speakers (i.e., they are not wireless). These are the speakers behind the listener. It's a Sony AV system, STR-K700 model. Every night, even if the system is off, the left surround speaker (these speakers are flush with the ceiling) gives off a very brief (< 1 second duration), sharp, high pitched beep at about 9 pm. It's not at exactly the same time every night, maybe up to 5 minutes before 9, never after nine. This is not a problem, but it's a phenomenon I cannot explain. Any clue to what might be the cause? I thought it might be the cell phone, because two nights ago we made sure they were turned off, and didn't hear the beep. However last night with all the cells off a minute before 9 pm we heard the beep. I have Direct TV and the DTV box sits right on top of the AV system. Maybe that's it?
Which home theater system should I get....the Sony Bravia DAV-HDX275, DAV-HDX277WC, or DAV-HDX279W? They seem almost identical to me, so I don't know which one to get. It says that the DAV-HDX275 is offering an option to add a pair of rear wireless speakers and an S-AIR transmitter with S-AIR Air Stations, the DAV-HDX277WC model includes one S-AIR Air Station receiver/speaker with an option to add a rear wireless speakers, and the DAV-HDX279W model includes the rear wireless speakers with an option to add S-AIR Air Station receiver/speakers for multi-room audio. Home cinema - I want a basic system, preferably wireless, any recommendations please? Just bought a Sony Bravia TV, and would like the surround sound effect. For lack of clutter I don't want wires everywhere, (and I have power outlets for rear speakers) and so wireless would seem to make sense. However, I don't want to spend a lot (who does) but I'm not an audiophile and so perfection is not required. Distance from screen to viewer is 10 to 12 feet. I'm not very technical so a one box solution would be good. I'm not into games just want to get the cinema experience at home, and get more from from CD collection. Help please?
What would be the best surround sound system...? .. to purchase for £500 or under that I can use with a Sony Bravia HDTV? Pref be if the rear speakers were wireless
I can't get my new surround sound system to work? I got a Sony Home theatre system for Christmas and i cant get the wireless surround sound speakers to work!
