How does wireless computer speakers work? I have a desktop computer with tons of mp3 music files on it. I like to be able to enjoy the music in different rooms in my house through speakers without much wiring, if at all. Is it possible? Thanks, Arman
Is there a place where I can find Wireless Computer Speakers? I Am having a Cook-Out next weekend and was looking for some wireless speakers to stream music from. Where is a good source that I should look? edit: Please, I have a low budget and can't get anything OVER 10 bucks. I don't care what quality but I can't spend LOTS of money.
Best wireless computer speakers? I'm looking for speakers under or around $200 that are WIRELESS (as in- do not have a cord attaching them to the computer but a cord attaching to the wall is fine) that are also good speakers any recommendations?
I am looking for good quality wireless 2.1 computer speakers? I have a Macbook Pro and I am looking for really good quality wireless 2.1 computer speakers. I have seen some that transmit via a USB dongle, which are alright, but what I am really looking for are speakers that don't have to connect to one another (possibly run on batteries) and connect to the computer via bluetooth. I want to be able to set them down on my desk, pair them with my Mac and use them without having any wires connecting them. Any ideas?
Can I buy wireless computer speakers? I'd like to buy speakers for my mac, as I want to use it to watch DVDs etc, and wanted a few speakers around the room. I don't want cables everywhere, so does anyone know if I can buy wireless computer speakers that are small. Also, what sort of price range am I looking at? Thanks in advance.
How do I know if computer speakers are wireless? Like If I am shopping online for some, I like these but It doesn't say anything about them being wireless. http://www.shopping.hp.com/webapp/shopping/product_detail.do?storeName=accessories&landing=computer&category=categories&subcat1=speakers_headsets&orderflow=1&a1=Type+of+product&v1=speakers&product_code=FT894AA%23ABA&catLevel=2
wireless computer speakers? what kind? looking to buy a set for a present. This person is very much into music and sound quality. As a present i am going to transfer all 400 of thier CDs to the computer. I also want to get wireless computer speakers so she can listen to her music out on the porch, or whereever. Does anyone know a high end set of speakers like this?
Wireless computer speakers? Okay. I'm looking for a decent pair of wireless computer speakers in order to play music from my MacBook. A friend has the Bose Soundlink system, which is awesome, but a little too expensive for me. So I guess something that is able to connect via USB/Bluetooth is ideal, and sound quality needs to be decent but not extraordinary. 300 bucks would probably be the most I'd want to spend. Thanks in advance
Wireless Computer Speakers? Ok so I am looking to put some wireless computer speakers in my bed room. It would be best if they could go in the conner of the ceilings but I still want them to run off of my laptop. Is that possible? If it is where can I find it (linkss would be helpful) Thanks!!!!!
Are there wireless computer speakers that you put in other rooms? Hello. I just bought a new home recently and I'm trying to set up a whole home theater with speakers in most of the common areas. My question is, is there speakers where there are like 3 or 4 sets of speakers and you can control from your computer which ones play. Like say I wanted speakers in the family room, kitchen, my bedroom, and the basement but I was having people over and only wanted music coming from the family room and the basement. Is there anything out where there is like a centrally controlled system that I can have music coming from 1 set or all sets depending on what I want? I don't know if this makes sense to anyone but I'm trying to explain what I have in my head as best as possible. Thanks everyone!
Why is my regular (not wireless) mouse interfering with my computer speakers? It is a very old mouse. The newer one I was using previously quit working, so I dug out this old one. It was working fine for a long time, but now all of a sudden it has begun interfering with my speakers. Everytime I move the mouse even a fraction of an inch I get static through the speakers. It is very aggravating. How can I make it stop? I should have also said that it is not optical. Just a regular, old-fashioned mouse.
which computer speakers are better, wireless or bluetooth? anyone know which is better? any brands or model numbers that you like? I thought it would be nice to get a speaker system for my laptop. When i watch instant movies on Netflix it's hard to hear sometimes. My laptop only goes so loud and i want speakers that sound good with movies. any ideas? maybe i should get speakers with wires i guess they don't have to be wireless speakers but i thought that would be easier. not having to plug in everytime. i have a Compaq CQ50-139WM if that helps anyone. it seems to have a great sound card but only goes so loud. what do you think?
how can I connect non-wireless speakers to my computer? I had a stereo that connected to speakers with little green and white wires (excuse my terminology). The wires didn't plug in, they had exposed wire at the end that just clipped into the back of my stereo. It worked great, and through my stereo I could plug my computer or iPod in through the headphones jack so that they could play though the speakers that were connected to my stereo. Well, my mom threw away my stereo so I can't plug in my computer any longer. However, I still have the speakers and i'd like to keep them because they're hung on the wall and are all wired up and that took a lot of time (so please don't suggest that I get new or wireless speakers). What can I connect those wires from my speakers to that I can connect to my computer? (Sorry, my terminology isn't great, if I can explain anything better please ask.)

Good sounding wireless speakers for computer??? Okay, my cat keeps chewing thru my speaker wires. She leaves all other wires alone, but apparently the speaker wire is just the right width for her to consider a snack. I've even went so far as to tape them down to the floor, but she is persistent and chews thru the tape to get to them. Anyone know of a good sounding wireless speaker that is reasonably priced?? Thanks!
Can different gauge speaker wires damage your speakers? I just purchased a set of Logitech Z-5450 wireless computer speaker system, and I'm wondering about using other speaker wires than the ones included in the box. The ones that came with the set, are extremely thin and skinny, and I thought I'd get better signal transfer with proper, thicker speaker wires. However, the instruction manual states that only 20AWG gauge wire can be used, and that any other gauge may damage the speakers/sytem. How can different gauge speaker wires possibly damage my system? I've swapped the skimpy wires that were packaged with my system, for 16AWG wires, and the speakers sound fine still. My intent was to further improve the sound quality of these speakers, although I was already quite pleased with the sytem. However, if I know these 16AWG wires can do harm to my system, then I'll definitely remove them ASAP!
help with Bluetooth wireless speakers ? OK, so i just bought a Sony Bluetooth Transmitter/Receiver to use with my Bose computer speakers wireless with my laptop. I have already paired the receiver and computer and and and the the speakers and the receiver correctly. However, the sound does not work. I want to add good speakers to my computer system? I use my computer as my stereo, I have all kinds of mucic on it, and I have some internet radio stations. Is there an adapter or something that will allow my back computer speakers to become wireless to the rest? I have a 5.1 computer speaker system and i was wondering if there is a way to make the back speakers connect wirelessly? I know there are adapters for regular home theater systems, i just am not sure if they make one for computer speakers that connect with rca like plugs not speaker wire. Any help would be great I know that the back speakers are not completely wireless. I just need them to be wireless from the rest of the speakers in the audio signal sense. I understand that there is a power cord to most wireless speakers and that is fine.
How to stop interference by wireless usb stick on my computer speakers? I am using a wireless usb stick (normal internet is not set up in the village where I am at) and I just purchased a 2.1 speaker system for my laptop. The problem, I can't use them when I'm on the internet because it keeps interfering and making really loud and annoying noises (kind of like when you get a txt on your phone and its near a tv or radio etc) that is non stop. is there a way to prevent this, because now i cant use the speakers when I'm online. any help/advice appreciated
Computer is off, why are speakers playing music? My mother just bought some new computer speakers (they're wired, not wireless). She turned her computer off, and the speakers start playing what sounds like a Russian radio station - talking about the Russian gas lines. It also plays music in a foreign language sometimes. Why is it doing this? How is this even possible... how can it pick up a signal? It's scaring me.
Does the wireless speaker system I want exist? I would like to be able to get speakers for my bedroom that would pick up on the computer speakers in the living room? (A wireless setup.) I've tried to look this up in google and I don't know if the wireless remote speakers it brings up would be what I'm looking for. It seems to me there should be such I thing, or did I make it up?
Why did my computer speakers stop working? Okay, I recently moved my computer to the other side of my bedroom for better wireless signal strength and my speaksers stopped working for some reason and I dunno why. I went into my control panel and checked out all the sound stuff in there and its not muted there, nor in any of my media players. When I plug in headphones the sound works fine, but I wanna use speakers -,- Can anyone explain anything to me?
What are some good wireless ipod speakers? Okay this is what I'm looking for: A wireless speaker system that I can hook my ipod up to, but also hook my tv/computer up to. Preferably under $200, but I'd go higher if i have to.

Help with plugging in computer speakers? I have a Dell XPS, a gaming computer and a everyday Hi-Grade home PC. Anyway, the speakers for the normal comp broke. The gaming computer doesn't currently have access to the internet, we are getting wireless in the week. I tried to connect the dell speakers to the normal comp, but they`re very odd. The dell speaker is a large black box, with a dial for changing bass, it has five slots, four for left and right speakers, and a large plug for the center speaker, which has a dial for changing volume. I have no idea how to plug it into my normal comp, I did it about a year ago, but put the speakers back into the dell. None of the plugs seem to fit, but I've made uit work before. Please help, because when something is explained on a video with audio- I can't hear it and it's really annoying. THANKS!
Are these computer speakers any good? Hi i would like to listen to my music from my computer from another room and was wondering if anyone who has bought them already can tell me how they are. Thanks!! PICS AND WEBSITE: http://www.nexusgadgets.com/wireless-speaker-pr-16704.html
How to get more volume & audio line out on computer? I have only one audio line out on my sound card and that of course is used for the computer speakers. I purchased a splitter but that's not enough as I have several items i.e. wireless speakers, tv speakers, VCR and DVD speakers, etc.etc. Each additional unit I plug in I get less and less volume. What do I need to research and purchase to solve my problem
Can i use these speakers with my computer? Can I use the WES600 Wireless Stereo Speaker System with a Dell computer that's about 4 years old?? The amazon link for them: http://www.amazon.com/Royal-Machines-29297W-Wireless-Speaker/dp/B002CCSSOY Can anyone help me out with this?
What's the best way to extend my computer speakers to another room? I'm at a loss as to how to go about this. I want to extend my computer sound/speakers to another room, and outside the house. I was looking at getting wireless speakers but after speaking to the sales person about wireless, and the possibility of problems and interference with frequency issues, I'm not sure wireless is the best way to go. I'm willing to do wired speakers but am confused as to whether or not I can extend my speakers that way, or do I need a whole new set up. I don't even know what I need to look for to even get started so I'm looking for advice and what others may have done. Much like extending your stereo speakers throughout your house, how would you do that with a computer and what speaker system would work best? Any ideas? Just to clarify, I want to put additional speakers on my computer, besides the left and right speaker I already have, I want to add more so that I can play my music inside and outside at the same time so, I'm looking to put 4 speakers on my computer instead of just the 2 I have now. I'm looking at extending a second set of speakers 12-15 foot away from where the computer/speakers are placed right now. Ok, so I looked at everything I have here and there is no way to extend what I have currently, no way to plug anything in or hook anything up. In doing some additional looking around online, it looks like what I might want to check out is called "PC multimedia home theater speaker system". I see 5 piece systems with sattelite speakers, this may be just what I need to give me the ability to play my music from my computer in more than one room of the house at the same time.
Awful humming comming from computer speakers? I've read up on every question about this subject on this site. None of them have helped. The wireless phone is now on the other side of the room. There's nothing magnetic around the room that'd cause the speakers to hum like this. I've done the configuration, gone through all the settings (toggled) and nothing's changed. Explain!

Can I use another computer's speakers through wireless internet? I have a netbook and a desktop that are on the same wireless network. The netbook speakers are horrible and I have a good set on my desktop. I wanna use the desktop speakers with my netbook without plugging in the speakers. I want to do this so that I can play a song in iTunes on one side of my room and have it play through my speaker system without walking over to my desktop to select a song.
How do I get this wireless speaker with bluetooth to work? I was told that if I buy a wireless speaker (which I did, I got one by Sony) and then a blue tooth, that I could make it so that I can play all my music and radio stations from my computer to the wireless speaker in another room. Well I cannot get it to work, what am I doing wrong? Thank you! I am sorry, I know this question is kind of vague. Okay so my computer recognizes the blue tooth but not the speaker. Maybe I need that adapter you mentioned.
New computer speakers? I am looking to buy new speakers for my computer but i cant decide. I want something with a subwoofer, and at least two speakers, preferably more. I would also like the speakers to be wireless, does any one know where i can find something like this or the name of one?

panasonic wireless speakers stops my internet? i have panasonic wireless surround sound speakers, and everytime i turn them on my computer drops my wireless connection. the router is in my home and when they're off its a solid excellent connection, but when i turn the surround sound on it either gets super weak or drops it all together...or sometimes it will connect and say "local only"...ive tried moving both the router and speakers around but it doesnt fix it. is there something wrong with my speakers or router, or is it just a freaky thing that occurs from having too much wireless junk in my house....
